Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). When you open the pages, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, date and time, the requested URL, the referrer URL and browser and operating-system information (server log files).

Purpose: delivering the website, security and stability. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in secure and efficient operation. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider. Transfers to the USA rely on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses or, where the provider is certified, on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Log data is stored only as long as necessary for these purposes.

Cookies and local storage

We use no tracking or advertising cookies. In your browser we store at most two small entries (local storage):

  • finanzpix.consent – remembers your choice in the cookie banner (necessary).
  • finanzpix.lang – remembers your chosen language (comfort; only with your consent).

Legal basis: the necessary entry is technically required (§ 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The comfort entry is set only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. See the cookie policy for details.

Fonts and external content

The font we use (Inter) is served from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other font services. We do not embed external scripts, maps, videos or social-media plugins.

Some pages contain links to external offerings (e.g. comparison portals). When you click them you leave our website; we have no influence on data processing there.

Contacting us

If you contact us by email, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, content of the message) to handle your request. Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or legitimate interest in answering (point f). Data is deleted once it is no longer needed to handle your request and no statutory retention duties apply. Please do not send us account details or bank statements.

Privacy in the Pay-Pulse app

Please verify: the statements in this section must match the app exactly, as well as the “App Privacy” details (privacy label) in App Store Connect.

Bank statements. You import bank statements from your online banking into the app. The app analyses transactions (e.g. date, amount, payee, reference) to detect recurring payments. The analysis takes place only on your device. We do not receive this data and do not pass it on to third parties.

No bank access, no account. There is no connection to your bank account and no registration with us.

No ads, no tracking. The app contains no advertising and no third-party tracking services.

Retention. The data stays locally on your device until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.

Purchases and subscriptions. Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. Apple processes payment data as an independent controller under Apple’s privacy policy; we do not receive payment data.

App analytics from Apple. If you have agreed in your iOS settings to share analytics data with developers, Apple provides us with aggregated, non-personal statistics (e.g. downloads, crashes).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can complain to us or to the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

Security and automation

Transmission between your browser and this website is encrypted (HTTPS). There is no automated decision-making including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

Changes

We update this policy when our offerings or the legal situation change. The version published here applies.
